Duties
* You will serve as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Supervisor for the new construction and/or overhaul of ships and crafts.
* You will supervise a team of employees, including outfitting and allowance specialists, configuration and technical specialists, and Government Purchase Card personnel.
* You will resolve ILS outfitting and technical problems within the constraints of existing instructional, statutory, and contract guidelines.
* You will represent the command in various ship program meetings, conferences, and reviews.
* You will assess projects and processes to identify project priorities and shortfalls to ensure milestones are met.
* You will assign appropriate team members to review and work all Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) incrementals.
* You will support and participate in command Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
Functional Area
and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR . Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Utilizing knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements for lifecycle support of assigned systems and shipboard equipment including maintenance planning, supply support, technical data, computer resource support, storage, transportation, small purchases, facilities, and design interface. Examples of specialized experience include:
1) Developing, reviewing, and approving ILS plans, procedures, and processes that may be implemented into new acquisition programs;
2) Utilizing knowledge of Navy Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) incremental products, Allowance Parts List (APL), and National Stock Numbers (NSN) to complete logistics tasks;
3) Investigating and solving issues such as stock number migration, source determination, statusing, and sources of substitute material;
4) Generating requisitions to support a wide range of equipment, services, and commodities using Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), e-MALL, One Touch, among other services to support procurement;
5) Using Microsoft Office programs to create, manage and generate configuration management, hierarchical structuring of components and systems, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, and reports Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:
