HM Richards is a financially stable, 28‑year‑old upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion. Our mission is to make beautiful furniture while constantly reducing our environmental footprint by using planet‑friendly materials and processes.

We currently have openings for Packers in our Guntown, MS location.

Receives finished product from quality control inspector, applies appropriate wrap, and places on the conveyor to send to the shipping department.

• Receives each piece of furniture after it has been inspected and approved for packing and shipping.
• Packs furniture using supplied materials, depending on the style.
• May work alone or with a team member, depending on the upholstery line assignment.
• Applies cardboard to the ends of furniture and suspensions to certain styles as specified by supervisor.
• Wraps furniture in plastic wrap or bubble wrap, depending on the style.
• Uses a tape gun to secure the wrap, ensuring all necessary supplies are applied correctly.
• Lifts pieces of furniture (chairs, sofas, loveseats, sofa beds, ottomans) to a buggy or roller and transports to the conveyor.
• Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

• Knowledge of an assembly‑line type environment.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to submit to a drug test and background investigation.

Pay range: $16.30 – $17.80 per hour.
