Shift: 7AM–7PM and 7PM–7AM.
Location:
Singing River Pascagoula Hospital.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled technical nursing care to patients according to predefined standards and a plan of care established by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician. The LPN works under the MS Nurse Practice Act, the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control, and the Singing River Health System Nursing Plan for Provision of Care, Treatment and Services. All duties are performed in accordance with SRHS procedures, accreditation standards, governing guidance and publications for health care employees.
Responsibilities• Provide skilled technical nursing care to adult, pediatric, and family patients.
• Implement care plans developed by NP or Physician following state and CDC guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Assist with patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and basic therapeutic activities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions and contribute to patient care plans.
• Utilize appropriate clinical judgment and professional skills for patient populations of all ages.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program for Licensed Practical Nursing.
- Current State of Mississippi licensed as an LPN (required); expanded role licensure preferred.
- Required to complete and maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire and/or transfer.
- Must complete de‑escalation training within 90 days of orientation.
- Preferred: 6 months of nursing experience.

Patient Care Manager.
• Supervises:
Assigned personnel.
The job is moderately active: involves sitting, frequent movements around the office and facility, and travel to other SRHS locations. It requires occasional lifting or carrying of light objects, use of repetitive wrist and hand motions, and exposure to body fluids and infectious disease hazards. Visual acuity for computer and documentation tasks is necessary.

Special DemandsSuperior customer service skills, professional etiquette, computer proficiency (MS Outlook, Word, phone, fax), and competence in clinical judgment for a diverse patient population.
