- Visually inspect in-process and completed products, including electronic units, subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds
- Use various measuring devices
- Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
- Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
- Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 1 year of related experience
- May require certification
- Current NBPI or NACE 1 qualification (nice to have)
- Demonstrated basic computer skills
- Ability to inspect confined spaces
- Ability to inspect at extreme heights
- Ability to stoop, crawl, bend, and climb ladders and stairs when required
- Able to read a blueprint
- U.S. Citizenship required
Demonstrates expertise in quality inspection of electronic units and mechanical assemblies, utilizing blueprints and various measuring devices. Proficient in monitoring quality control processes and performing inspections in challenging environments.
