- Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards
- Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments
- Set up calibration sequences, methods, and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
- Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and/or repair of electronic, physical, and/or optical test and measuring equipment using established methods and procedures
- Calibrate advanced, complex test equipment deliverable with Navy ships
- Maintain accurate records and a recall system for calibratable equipment
- Process and status company-owned and ship-deliverable test equipment and test tools
- Report directly to the Quality Manager 1
- Work with minimal supervision
- Associate's degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline
- 1 year experience

- US Citizenship Required for this Position
- Basic troubleshooting and repair skills in electronics
- Ability to work in environment lifting weights of up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop and bend when required
- Demonstrated basic computer skills
- Formal training in metrology (military) verified by certificates of training in Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) and/or Technical Training School Certificates listed on the resume
Demonstrates expertise in calibrating and maintaining electronic and mechanical test equipment, with a strong foundation in metrology and troubleshooting. Capable of following detailed specifications and maintaining accurate records for quality assurance.
