Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Fitness Specialist to work on a short term contract in Pascagoula, MS
The main function of a fitness specialist is to promote healthy lifestyle through exercise and health promotion, working with employee population.
Responsibilities- Assists in the deployment of health and fitness programs for employee population.
- Provides customer support by assisting employees and fitness center members with fitness programs and wellness consultations.
- Provides wellness center supervision, interacts with members and program participants, monitors equipment and participant safety.
- Conducts fitness testing and assessments.
- Provide individual and group exercise instruction. Designs individualized programs to meet member interests, abilities, and goals.
- Supports member enrollment and associated administrative duties.
- Degree in a related field 0-2 years of experience.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications are required.
- Industry recognized certification.
