PROTECTING PERSONAL OR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
There is a balance between individual privacy and the need to have records readily available for viewing.
The Office of the Clerk & Comptroller is authorized to protect certain information through the process of redaction (obscure with a black box) and uses a combination of computer programs and human review to accomplish this important task. Should you find a document, or portion of a document, you believe requires protection of personal, confidential, or sensitive information, we offer a guide to help you determine the appropriate process and/or form to complete to request redaction of your document(s).
No fees are charged for these services.
It is important to our Office that the information regarding our customers and the citizens of Pasco County is protected from falling into the wrong hands. Visit the Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft page to learn more about how to defend yourself from identity theft.
