The Technical Scheduler is responsible for coordinating customer service requests, monitoring and adjusting the daily schedule as needed to complete the expected and upcoming work in the short term. This position collaborates with service managers, office staff, sales staff, field technicians, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth and profitable projects from start to finish.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Serves as main liaison for service manager, customers, and field technicians.
- Reviewing construction/service schedules, matching available technicians to skillset required.
- Invoicing service tickets.
- Using PB existing platforms (Service Trade, We Suite, Sedona, Teams, Outlook).
- Sitting for long periods, constant computer work.
- Use of the telephone to speak with clients; in person to speak with technicians, sales, and management.
- Answering scheduling queries via email and phone.
- Rescheduling or canceling meetings in a timely manner.
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and demonstrate adaptability in an ever-changing environment.
- Coordination of Technicians, General Contractors, Property Management, and outside vendors as needed.
- Scheduling with customers and multiple teams of technicians for emergency services and scheduled repair jobs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or in an industry-related field preferred.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in scheduling software.
- Advanced knowledge of confirming and rescheduling appointments, as well as recordkeeping practices.
- Ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- $20.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE
