Area Manager II

Overview

Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers daily. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to serve as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workers and oversee safety, quality, attendance, and performance, ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time.

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with support teams—including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources—to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Maintain physical standards: lift up to 49 lbs; perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in varying noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions at delivery stations.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (when applicable).

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Experience with process improvements such as Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
• Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments.
• Flexible schedule: work a flexible shift schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Base salary range: 82,600.00 – 90,900.00 USD annually (USA, WA, Pasco). Your package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
