Site EHS Manager III; Fulfillment & Operations

We’re seeking a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to drive a comprehensive safety program that touches thousands of lives. You’ll work at the intersection of operations and safety, shaping the future of workplace health while delivering real-time solutions to protect our people.

As the site’s safety facilitator, you will partner with Operations leadership to weave safety into daily operations, using data-driven insights to reduce risk and enhance productivity. You will lead comprehensive risk assessments and translate safety data into actionable strategies. Leadership is central to this role, including building and developing a high-performing team of WHS professionals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Lead the Global WHS Program, partnering with Operations to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Use data analytics and risk insights to drive preventive safety measures and inform strategic decisions.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits; translate findings into actionable safety programs and improvements.
• Build and develop a high-performing WHS team; foster continuous improvement and safety excellence.
• Develop leadership plans, communicate expectations, and drive initiatives to create a safe work environment.
• Measure performance against WHS policies and address non-compliance issues.
• Oversee safety training programs and maintain compliant recordkeeping.

• Lift up to 49 pounds; frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours per shift
• Work in environments with variable noise, temperatures, and weather (delivery stations with outdoor loading)
• Continually ascend/descend stairs (sites with stairs)
• Provide effective care delivery in emergencies and assist site emergency response

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management

• Distribution Center or Manufacturing WHS experience with a mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at sites of 250+ people
• Master’s degree
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
• Certified Safety Professional
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders
• Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
