Customer Service Specialist – 6 Months Contract

Convoy is a trusted distributor of construction materials, operating across the U.S. and Canada. The role focuses on daily customer service tasks, order management, and inventory support.

• Process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, and/or returns.
• Coordinate delivery and/or pickup of customer orders with the operations team.
• Educate customers on products and their applications.
• Generate, place, and confirm purchase orders with suppliers.
• Receive payment for merchandise or services sold and log sales into the computer; handle payments received and adhere to all administrative and accounting procedures.
• Participate in the physical inventory of warehouse materials.

• Experience assisting customers with product procurement – preferably in building supply or construction industry.
• Problem‑solving skills with the ability to respond quickly and accurately to inquiries, handle fast‑paced environment, and maintain sense of humor.
• Excellent decision making and initiative.
• Well organized, strong attention to detail.
• Respectful team player.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
  Spanish spoken is an asset.
