Instructional Rates
Instructional Rate: $72.72 – $72.72 per hour
Non-Instructional Rate: $50.00 – $50.00 per hour
Meeting Rate: $30.00 – $30.00 per hour
If work is performed outside of instruction, it will be paid at the non‑instructional rate of $50.00 per hour or the meeting rate of $30.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Teach courses which may include Art Appreciation, Art History, and Studio courses.
- Develop and deliver course content that is engaging, relevant, and accessible to a diverse student population.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Maintain accurate student records and provide reasonable accommodations as per ADA guidelines.
- Respond to student communications promptly and ensure access to course information.
- Collaborate with campus affinity groups and contribute to initiatives that support inclusivity and equity.
- Master's degree in Art or a related field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and visual literacy skills.
- Able to work with diverse student populations and faculty.
- Proficiency in instructional technology and learning management systems (i.e., Canvas, Panopto, Zoom).
- Committed to culturally responsive teaching strategies and practices.
- College teaching experience.
- Available to teach during afternoon and/or evening hours.
The quarter schedule for the 2025‑2026 academic year is as follows:
Fall 2025: September 15 – December 4
Winter 2026: January 5 – March 26
Spring 2026: April 6 – June 18
Summer 2026: June 29 – August 21
