Here's how you will support our mission
The Reentry Navigator will provide education-related reentry support and community outreach for current and prospective justice-impacted students. This position collaborates. with college and community representatives, including law enforcement and corrections staff, to advance equitable student access and success, in alignment with college strategic goals.
The Reentry Navigator will report to the Director for Student Recruitment.
The salary range for this position is $58,546.00 - $67,360.00 annually.
This position is open until filled. First consideration will be given to applicants whose complete application has been received by July 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST. The College will conduct initial interviews with selected candidates via Zoom and will conduct on-campus interviews with finalists.
* Collaborate and communicate with corrections navigators and jail staff to connect in person with prospective students prior to release and create a seamless transition for participants;
* Engage in frequent check-ins with current and prospective students to strengthen relationships, cultivate educational capital and increase academic and social confidence;
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and outcomes records on students for purposes of data analysis and evaluation;
* Contribute to the development and implementation of an outreach and recruitment plan to create a climate of belonging, inclusion and affirmation for justice-impacted people; support the CBC strategic plan for recruitment and outreach;
* Create and present workshops and/or information for potential students who are being released from incarceration to promote CBC in general, as well as specific College programs…
