Job DescriptionPosition: 2nd/3rd Grade Combo TWDL Bilingual Teacher – 1.0 FTE, Maya Angelou Elementary.
Location:
Maya Angelou Elementary, Pasco, Washington.
Salary:
Based on the Certificated Salary Schedule.
Payroll and Benefits:
Employee Benefits.
New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening.
The candidate must demonstrate commitment to student success while aligning with state requirements and the school’s guiding principles, vision, and mission. The candidate must also demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for working with all students. The candidate must be willing to participate in required trainings and professional development, implement best practices that foster meaningful learning experiences, work within a system that supports student interventions, and collaborate with relevant staff members to enhance student outcomes.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with applicable endorsement
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual/Biliterate in English/Spanish*
- Previous successful classroom teaching experience
* Bilingual/Biliterate is defined as having been previously hired into a PSD Bilingual Certificated assignment or obtaining a passing score on the STAMP Assessment.
