Here’s how you will support our mission

CBC is seeking two (2) enthusiastic, collaborative, and forward-thinking individuals to join our faculty as tenure-track

Assistant Professors for Library Services. Because the Library provides instructional and operational services throughout theyear, these positions are based on a 200-day annual work schedule.

• Position 1 : A year-round appointment focused on information literacy instruction, research assistance, campus engagement, collection development, and student support. This position additionally supports the instructional and operational needs of the Library during summer quarter and serves as the leadfor the organization and stewardship of the College's historical archives.
• Position 2: A year-round appointment that maintains theabove core faculty librarianship duties while also serving as the primary operational lead for the Library's integrated library system, electronic resources (eResources), and related library technologies.

Both positions report to the Director of Library Services.

The salary range for this position is $82,105-$86,261 for a 200-day contract over the Instructional Year (Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer Quarters).

Relocation expenses are part of the employment offer for the successful candidate if the candidate relocates to the Tri-Cities area from outside of a 175-mile radius.
