3.00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; 2.00 Wednesday; 180-day calendar
Salary: $25.50 - $26.20; $26.15- $26.85- BA Degree
Qualifications:
Required:
(Qualifications which are essential to the position)
- Must proficiently read, speak and write both English and Spanish
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Know and communicate District philosophy
- Valid Washington State Driver's License and complete 5 year driving abstract (Available from Department of Licensing)
- Dependable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to work independently and with initiative
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness
- Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
- Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
- Able to work flexible hours which coincide with the hours parents are available
- Ability to provide workshop/training sessions for parents
- Willingness to work with students and parents of students whose attendance negatively impacts performance
- Willingness to work collaboratively with all building staff and participate in daily/weekly team meetings
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students, and patrons
Qualifications:
Desired: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
- Experience as a classroom para educator or tutor
- Knowledge of, and good rapport with entire migrant community
- Previous Home Visitor experience
