Lead Wind Technician

Pasco, WA | Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr (commensurate with experience and education)

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions in wind turbines.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Serve as project lead, primary contact for management and customers.
• Partner with entry-level technicians to train and develop skillsets.
• Travel regularly to turbine sites, including overnight stays or short-notice deployments.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and general service on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Maintain and inventory company‑issued tooling and equipment.
• Complete and submit reports upon job completion.
• Submit daily and per diem time accurately and on time.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of relative experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervision.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and retain training.
• Basic computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Willingness to travel by motor vehicle, plane, etc.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
