Overview
Lead Wind Technician position located in Pasco, WA. The role troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions and performs preventative maintenance on wind turbines. The position serves as project lead and is the primary contact for management and customers. Reports to the Field Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities- Serve as project lead on assigned wind turbine maintenance and service tasks
- Travel regularly to turbine sites as needed, which may include overnight stays or short-notice deployments
- Perform scheduled maintenance and general service on wind turbines
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Perform diagnostic electrical analysis
- Maintain and inventory company-issued tooling and equipment
- Complete and submit reports upon job completion
- Submit daily and per diem time accurately and on time
- Train and mentor entry-level technicians
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of relative experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervision
- Ability to follow safety procedures and retain training
- Ability to use basic Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Willingness to travel by motor vehicle, plane, etc.
- Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
