Lead Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Civil Engineer to oversee and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet client requirements, adhere to quality standards, and comply with all regulations. This role requires a strong background in project management and geotechnical engineering, with an emphasis on innovative solutions and sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering professionals to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Conduct site assessments and geotechnical investigations.
  • Prepare and review design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Manage project timelines and resources effectively to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Conduct soil analysis and other necessary assessments to inform project planning.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance and environmental assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management and geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools, including AutoCAD.
  • Experience in structural engineering, site development, and environmental engineering is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in construction management and cost estimation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and infrastructure development standards.
