Overview
Our client, a well-established firm based in Washington, seeks a Civil Project Engineer to join their team in the Tri-Cities area. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineering professional who thrives on creative problem-solving and collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment. The role contributes to a range of private development projects—including residential subdivisions, commercial sites, industrial facilities, and mixed-use developments—guiding efforts from initial planning through construction.
The Civil Project Engineer works closely with project managers, CAD technicians, and fellow engineers to deliver meaningful projects that shape surrounding communities, offering a strong platform for professional growth and lasting impact. This full-time position is located in Pasco, WA.

- Support the design and development of civil engineering projects focused on private development
- Work on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial site development projects
- Prepare civil construction plans, permit documents, calculations, and technical reports
- Perform stormwater modeling and prepare storm drainage reports
- Design utility extensions including water, sewer, and stormwater systems
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and CAD technicians
- Utilize Civil 3D and other tools to develop site plans and supporting documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of civil site design experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience using stormwater modeling tools such as WWHM and MGS Flood
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a client-focused mindset and team-oriented attitude
