Overview

A growing organization is seeking a Controller to lead all financial management, reporting, and accounting operations. This role is both hands‑on and strategic-responsible for accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and providing clear financial insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

+ Oversee AR, AP, GL, inventory accounting, and payroll functions.

+ Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

+ Maintain compliance with GAAP and ensure accuracy of financial records.

+ Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

+ Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership decision‑making.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

+ Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.

+ Improve workflows and enhance efficiency across the accounting team.

+ Manage financial audits and collaborate with external auditors.

Leadership & Collaboration

+ Supervise and mentor accounting team members; promote accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

+ Partner with internal teams and leadership to improve financial visibility.

+ Communicate complex financial information in an actionable, accessible way.

Systems & Inventory Management

+ Oversee inventory costing, valuation, reconciliation, and cycle count processes.

+ Support multi‑state operations with tax compliance and regulatory requirements.

BENEFITS OFFERED:

+ SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$120,000

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in a leadership role preferred.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
