Financial Analyst – Pasco, WAThis full‑time position focuses on costing, analysis, and reporting functions within Supply Chain, serving as the corporate liaison for plant manufacturing costing. Responsibilities include production and cost reconciliations, periodic financial reporting, variance analysis, data consolidation, forecasts, the annual planning process, strategic planning, and special projects.
Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze manufacturing variances for Lamb Weston production facilities, distributing results to internal staff and management.
- Interface with Procurement, Plant Finance, and Contract Manufacturing to develop and maintain costing standards.
- Review costing changes for both accuracy and documentation to support audit confirmations.
- Support the management reporting function, earnings release, board, and plan support.
- Coordinate input into the financial planning system, supporting consolidation of annual operating plans and the strategic plan, and validate data accuracy and reasonableness with management.
- Analyze monthly variances between actual results, current estimate, plan, and prior year, summarize findings, and discuss with management.
- Assist in internal and external audits when requested.
- Be a key player in ERP implementation and future plans.
- Execute other special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as requested.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of general business and financial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a solid understanding of general business concepts.
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and a proven track record of compliance.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to balance extreme detail with broader goals and time constraints.
- Advanced technical knowledge and a proven capability to collaborate across departments such as Plant Finance, Procurement, Demand Planning, and Operations.
- Self‑direction and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects to successful completion in a deadline‑driven environment, while remaining flexible.
- Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially intermediate to advanced Excel.
