Weekend Caregivers (Saturday & Sunday)

Visiting Angels is hiring Weekend Caregivers.

At Visiting Angels, we support caregivers who are dedicated to delivering exceptional in‑home care. If you’re reliable, compassionate, and available on weekends, we want to meet you—especially if you have dementia care experience.

• Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
• Caregivers experienced in dementia care

Weekend Pay Incentive:
Earn an extra $1.50/hour for every Saturday and Sunday shift worked.

Health Benefit Bonus:
After 90 days, caregivers working 20+ hours per week qualify for FREE primary care
—for you or a member of your household.

As a CNA/NAC or HCA, you’ll provide personalized care in clients’ homes, including:

• Assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Safe transfers and mobility support (including Hoyer lifts as needed)
• Dementia care and cognitive engagement

• Active CNA/NAC or HCA certification
• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Weekend availability
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to pass a background check and provide references
• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting changes in condition
• Vital sign measurement and documentation
• Meal prep, feeding assistance, and hydration support
• Light housekeeping and safety checks
• Companionship and emotional support
• Following individualized care plans and completing documentation

• Dementia care (strongly preferred)
• Hoyer lift transfers
• Home care, assisted living, or long‑term care settings

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers
• Committed to quality, respectful care
