• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate degree preferred
• Licenses: EMT, EMT‑P, CNA, SRNA, or CMA. Preferred or completion of first semester clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing Degree Program (ADN or BSN).
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Required;
  Completion of Cardiac Telemetry Certification within 1 year of hire;
  Evidence of successful completion of Telemetry/Dysrhythmia course.

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately; identifies and corrects for artifacts; reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in the patient's physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Tests equipment for proper working order; reports equipment problems to supervisor.
