Responsibilities include supporting patient care activities under supervision, performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, monitoring and communicating changes in patient condition, maintaining equipment and medical supplies, and keeping examination areas and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly. Work under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse and assist with patient assessments and treatments.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required.
• Current WA CCMA or CMA. must be obtained within the hire date.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
