We are looking for a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission of making communities healthier. The role involves performing phlebotomy duties, specimen collection and processing, quality control, and documentation.

• Perform phlebotomy duties including venipuncture and capillary techniques using standard equipment.
• Ensure requisitions contain patient demographics and accurate billing information.
• Transcribe physician orders.
• Facilitate unobserved urine specimen collection and interact directly with patients to obtain necessary information.
• Process, label, and store specimen samples for subsequent analysis.
• Perform and document quality control procedures to maintain compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Perform Med-Competence testing.
• Enter waived testing results into the LIS via manual entry mode.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment; perform light cleaning of work area.
• Perform specialized specimen collection as requested.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up specimens outside of the laboratory.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: 2 years of college or an associate’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of lab‑related experience, including at least 3 months practicum in a clinical, hospital, or lab setting.
• Preference for prior waived testing experience.
• Certifications:
  
  State MA-P (Medical Assistant Phlebotomist) or MA-C (Medical Assistant Certified).

$18.70–$25.74
