Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - GI Clinic

Full Time, Days (8 a.m.

- 5 p.m.)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Current Washington state CCMA or CMA certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or one obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assists with patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
