As an Inpatient Physical Therapist
, you will:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for hospitalized patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Deliver evidence-based acute care physical therapy interventions
- Assess mobility, gait, transfers, fall risk, and discharge readiness
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case managers to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on safe mobility techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge recommendations
- Complete accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current or eligible Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Strong communication and clinical decision‑making skills
- Passion for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care physical therapy
- Acute care or hospital experience is preferred but not required
- New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply
