Contract Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Pasco, WA
Location: Pasco, Washington Schedule: Contract Residency Requirement: Must live within 60 miles of the facility Experience: 2+ Years Credentials: Active CRT, RRT, or State License
About the OpportunityA respected healthcare facility in Pasco, WA is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for RTs who thrive in a clinical environment, deliver exceptional patient care, and want a contract assignment with competitive pay and strong professional support.
Responsibilities- Perform respiratory assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator management
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Safely operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies
- 2+ years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience
- Active Respiratory Therapist Certification and/or License (CRT or RRT)
- Must live within 60 miles of Pasco, WA
- Strong understanding of respiratory care protocols and ventilator management
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
- Acute care, critical care, or emergency department experience
- Experience with EMR systems
