Youll collaborate closely with educators and team members, engaging with students from kindergarten through high school to help them reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with valid credentials for school-based practice
• Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of both direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations
• Comfortable engaging in Medicaid billing and documentation processes
• Collaborative mindset for working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct mostly 1:1 therapy sessions, addressing students individualized needs
• Perform thorough initial, ongoing, and discharge evaluations for K-12 students
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students goals
• Participate in indirect activities such as writing IEPs, programming accommodations, and preparing necessary documentation
• Complete Medicaid billing and participate in referral processes as needed
• Coordinate with teachers, often serving as part of a team where the primary case management is teacher-led
• Effectively manage a consistent caseload that encompasses a non-transient, yet diverse school environment
