Job Summary:
EDU-AIDs is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work directly with students receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, helping them develop communication, social, academic, and daily living skills while promoting independence and positive behaviors in educational settings.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct one-on-one and small group ABA therapy services to students.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress, behaviors, and treatment goals.
- Assist students in developing communication, social, academic, and adaptive living skills.
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs, teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistency in behavioral support strategies.
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations and concerns to the supervising BCBA.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and ABA program requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field preferred. - Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
