Opportunity

The Account Manager manages a book of insurance business and provides professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues. They may work independently, as part of a team, or with a Producer to provide client advocacy, retention, write new client accounts or lines of coverage as needed. Account Managers are responsible for following our best practices and broker standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serve day‑to‑day client needs, including fielding phone calls, emails, and other communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
  • Manage the execution of all aspects of the client renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation of renewal numbers to the Producer and the client (where applicable), and invoicing.
  • Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included in the proposal.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
  • Manage and delegate work as needed to Associate Account Managers I and II to ensure their progress and workload is appropriate.
  • Maintain relationships with underwriters to achieve positive results for clients and negotiate coverage.
  • Ensure the completion and accuracy of proposals, binding of coverage, review of policies for accuracy, and creation of client policy summaries and binders.
  • Set up and maintain electronic records.
  • Use best practices and internal broker standards for service and maintenance of client files and information.
  • Provide training and collaboration with team members to share and educate on coverage, exposures, and client knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Holder of a P & C Insurance Producer License.
  • Two or more years of property‑casualty insurance brokerage or account‑management experience (preferred).
  • Strong customer‑service orientation.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization and follow‑up skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization.
  • Experience with EPIC Agency Management System (preferred but not required).
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
  • The position requires sitting, using hands and fingers, and hearing; occasional lifting of up to ten pounds.
  • Close vision required for computer monitor.

The expected salary range for this position is $30.76 - $33.33 per hour, depending on geographical location and factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and specific business line.
