Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

Darigold is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to be a part of Darigold’s Pasco plant. The Pasco Team Maintenance Manager must possess the desire and ability to lead the maintenance function. As a member of the Pasco Team the Maintenance Manager will be a partner in the Operations Division. The Maintenance Manager’s role is to lead the Pasco Team maintenance function including both managing staff and fiscal responsibilities.

• Will Manage a maintenance staff in a plant that operates 24/7.
• Provides on and off hour emergency response including equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of personnel as needed.
• Administers department budget within established guidelines, oversees new capital expenditure items including equipment purchases, contracted labor, and in-house construction and fabrication projects.
• Develop and deliver on maintenance programs with an emphasis towards OEE-based performance.
• Oversee plant utilities including steam generation, power distribution, chillers, glycol heating and cooling, cooling towers, domestic tempered water, plant HVAC systems, water distribution systems, fire suppression, etc.
• Utilize continuous improvement tools to improve plant reliability including defect handling, CIL (clean inspect lubricate), breakdown analysis, etc.

• Experience in dairy or food processing required, drying operations preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of maintenance and repair to include mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and building maintenance, wastewater treatment, boiler operation and maintenance, and refrigeration.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining process control software.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team in continuous improvement activities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

• B.S. in Engineering or related field OR an associate degree in a technical field with the correct combination of leadership experience, and food or dairy processing experience desired
• 5 to 7 years combined experience in plant maintenance and/or engineering; minimum of 3 years in supervisory capacity.
• Maintenance experience with butter and/or milk powder production, dairy processing, and consumer packaging desired
• Experience with process control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and automation.
• Complete understanding of computer driven process controls for a dairy manufacturing facility preferred, and PC literate

Salary
: $94,772 - $142,158 per year, depending on experience.
