On Call Operations Crew Member – Event Setup & Facility Care

• Variety throughout your shift:
  Help with event setup, room changes, equipment organization, cleaning, and guest support.

  Work with Operations, Event Staff, Food & Beverage, Security, and other departments.

This position includes both event setup and janitorial duties. Assignments change with the event schedule and facility needs.

• Set up and take down tables, chairs, linens, stages, risers, pipe and drape, dance floors, signage, and other event equipment.
• Follow event floor plans and instructions to complete accurate, safe setups on time.
• Assist with room changes, resets, and last-minute adjustments before and during events.
• Keep event spaces, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, public areas, and staff areas clean and stocked.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub floors, remove trash and recycling, and respond promptly to spills.
• Safely move, inspect, organize, and store equipment, supplies, and linens.
• Check assigned areas regularly and address or report cleanliness concerns, blocked pathways, equipment damage, and safety hazards.
• Provide courteous assistance to clients, vendors, guests, and coworkers, and communicate requests to the appropriate supervisor.
• Use equipment and cleaning products according to training, authorization, and safety procedures.
• Assist with other operational duties as needed.

Forklifts may be operated only after required training, certification, and authorization. Other specialized equipment also requires appropriate training and authorization.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. This is an on-call position, with hours assigned based on performance and event needs. Hours are not guaranteed.

Availability may include early mornings, daytime hours, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

This role involves active physical work throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and moving equipment.

You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually, using team lifting or appropriate equipment when necessary. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in varying facility and weather conditions.
