At every level, we deliver quality and value that is unmatched. We currently have a Seasonal Quality Control Processing Lab Technician position available in our facility in Pasco, WA.

As a Twin City Foods (Pasco Division) Seasonal Quality Control Processing Lab Technician your main purpose would be to grade the quality of the peas and corn.


* Selected employee will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands on vegetable grading (peas and corn).
• Grading includes the evaluation of color, taste, defects, tenderness, maturity, flavor and odor.
• Check temperature and examine for foreign material that can be a food safety issue or harmful for consumption.
• Scoring and ticket creation through ticket system for totes and hold codes.
• Follow metal detector procedures and testing of metal detector devices.
• Duties will involve computer data entry and paperwork completion as well as other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Certifications/Experience Required:

• Ability to read and write in English for completion of all required paperwork. Able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate good teamwork.
• The position requires employees to sit, stand and walk throughout the facility. Employees will be required to use constant hand/finger movement and grasping of vegetable product.
• Some computer experience is needed to perform data entry and ticket creation.
• Minimal lifting will be required.
