Overview
OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 23 stores in WA, OR.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain dry ice pellet and block equipment in accordance with operator's manual.
- Loading and packaging dry ice daily in accordance with quality standards.
- Operating a pallet jack or forklift to maneuver dry ice boxes as required to meet production needs.
- Complying with all established safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail.
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues with dry ice production equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members and other personnel.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
- Able to operate a forklift; general knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.
- Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
- Able to communicate effectively, visually and verbally with internal and external contacts.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit, climb or balance.
- Work Environment - some outside.
- Will regularly be required to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently be required to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Must pass drug screen and background check.
- Salary Range:
Expected hiring salary is $22.00/hr. (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $22.00/hr.
-$29.50/hr.)
