Wage scale: $42.14 - $78.11 per hour

About the DepartmentOur Orthopedics department is a 10‑bed unit serving a pediatric population. It values teamwork, schedule flexibility, and professional support.
- 10 beds
- 1:5 nurse ratio
- 12 hour shifts
- Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Medical Surgical Orthopedics unit.
- Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - Current RN license in state of practice.
- BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required.
- $10,000 - $20,000 Commitment-Incentive Bonus (Pro-Rated for Part-Time)
- $2.25 - $4.50 Shift differential
