Our Orthopedics Department is a 10‑bed unit specializing in care for patients of all ages. The department emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and professional support.

• 1:5 Nurse Ratio
• 12‑Hour Shifts
• 10 Beds

• Plan, coordinate, and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Medical Surgical Orthopedics unit.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor patient condition, communicating with the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
• 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required.

• $10,000 – $20,000 Commitment‑Incentive Bonus (Pro‑Rated for Part‑Time)
