Our Medical / Surgical Department embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, which are essential for providing specialized care to patients. This 25-bed department provides clinical care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Medical / Surgical Orthopedics unit. The organization promotes a positive work environment through teamwork, schedule flexibility, and a strong focus on professional support and work‑life balance.
- 1:5 Nurse Ratio
- 12 Hour Shifts
- 25 Beds

How you'll contribute
You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served in the Medical Surgical Orthopedics unit.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
- 1 year of Acute Care RN experience required.
