Job Summary

Ambulatory Surgery Center RN at Providence Health and Services. The RN provides comprehensive peri‑operative nursing care including pre‑ and post‑surgical patient management, coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care. The role advocates for patients’ rights and supports professional nursing practice in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is based at Kadlec Regional Medical Center and requires a registered nursing license, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.

• Assumes independent responsibility for the direct, primary care of patients through the pre‑/post‑operative phases of surgical care under the direction of the RN Manager ASC KC.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the peri‑operative phase.
• Coordinates total patient care in collaboration with other health‑care team members.
• Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patients’ Bill of Rights.
• Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one’s nursing practice.
• Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care.
• Assists in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, and performs related duties as assigned.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License.
• National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• At least one year of nursing experience.

Pay Range: $40.90 – $63.49 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
