Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department – PRN, rotating shifts – union position – wage $42.14–$78.11/hr commitment‑incentive bonus $10,000–$20,000, shift differential $2.25–$4.50 per hour. 12‑hour shifts.
Responsibilities- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and other medical care activities.
- Document patient care provided.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current state RN license in Washington.
- Bachelor or Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
- 1–3 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department (required).
- Charge nurse experience preferred.
- Commitment‑incentive bonus $10,000–$20,000.
- Shift differential $2.25–$4.50.

Emergency Department staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses, and staff trained in emergency care. The department is a Level IV Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center with 9 beds and 12‑hour shifts.
