The Ambulatory Surgery Center RN provides comprehensive peri-operative nursing care including pre- and post-surgical patient management, coordinating with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective care. This role advocates for patients' rights and supports professional nursing practice in a dynamic healthcare environment. Based in Kadlec Regional Medical Center, the position requires a registered nursing license, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.
- Assumes independent responsibility/accountability for the direct, primary care of patients through the pre/post phases of surgical care.
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the peri-operative phase.
- Coordinates total patient care in coordination with other health care team members.
- Functions as a patient advocate utilizing the Patients' Bill of Rights.
- Demonstrates professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one's nursing practice.
- Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, patients and their families to facilitate safe and effective flow of patient care in a manner consistent with the Mission, Vision and Values of Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
- Assists in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, as well as performs related duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
Pay Range: $40.90 - $63.49
Base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
