The schedule is flexible, offering a four- or five-day work week with one Saturday per month; no nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours.

Pet Medical Center of Pasco is looking for a compassionate, curious, and collaborative Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our fantastic team. We're passionate about animal welfare, strengthening the human-animal bond, and helping clients understand how to give their pets happy, healthy lives.
We're also proud to be "that practice" where people genuinely want to work. Our team is made up of hardworking veterinary professionals, craft beer enthusiasts, art lovers, tattoo trendsetters, cat Instagram fans, and people who believe work should include plenty of laughter, support, and puppy kisses. More than anything, we're genuine, welcoming, and proud to be ourselves inside and outside the clinic.
Why you'll love it here includes flexible four- or five-day work weeks that support a healthy work-life balance, just one Saturday shift per month, no nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours, regular lunch breaks and a break room stocked with snacks, drinks, and coffee, occasional coffee runs, ice cream parties, and team meals, supportive mentorship for both experienced technicians and those developing new skills, a fun, inclusive team that celebrates birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, and life's important moments, and opportunities to work with advanced equipment and expand your knowledge of unique services.
What you'll do includes supporting veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures, providing compassionate nursing care to dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other exotic patients, monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical preparation and patient recovery, performing diagnostic procedures, including laboratory testing and digital radiography, educating clients about preventative care, treatment recommendations, and their pets' health, maintaining accurate medical records and communicating patient updates clearly, collaborating with doctors and teammates to deliver efficient, high-quality care, and contributing your knowledge while remaining open to learning from others.
What you'll bring includes a current Washington Licensed Veterinary Technician credential, strong clinical skills and a willingness to continue learning, compassion and empathy for patients, clients, teammates, and yourself, a positive attitude and the ability to maintain your "cattitude" on challenging days, a collaborative mindset and willingness to ask for help and offer it to others, strong communication and client education skills, reliability, adaptability, and a sense of humor, and enthusiasm for sharing your talents, experiences, and knowledge with the team.
The extras you'll actually feel include growth as a team effort, access to mentoring, professional support, and a team that believes the more everyone knows, the better care we can provide. Our hospital is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, laser therapy, a surgical laser, and advanced monitoring equipment. We also offer opportunities to learn about avian and exotic medicine, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and the work of our own nonprofit organization, Watson's Paws for the Cause, and its small adoption program.
Join our team. Think you're the Licensed Veterinary Technician we've been dreaming of? Bring your skills, curiosity, compassion, and authentic self to Pet Medical Center of Pasco. Apply today and discover the difference we can make together in the lives of our people, patients, and clients!
