Our department supervisors provide an Amazing Customer Experience through helpful and friendly service that ensures customer needs are being met and encourages customers to make Grigg’s/ACE Hardware their store of choice.

Department Supervisors solve problems for our customers and staff. They are responsible for daily store operations, in-store merchandising, and administrative functions within the department and store. This key role leads and trains staff to provide exceptional customer service.

• Opening and closing duties for the store.
• Performing customer service and answering customer inquiries.
• Assisting in training newly hired associates.
• Oversee in-store merchandising and setting promotional signage.
• Enforcement of all company policies.
• Organize, restock, and clean merchandise on the sales floor.
• Inventory control and enforcement of loss prevention policies.
• Always demonstrate commitment to all safety standards.
• Communicate with fellow coworkers and delegate as needed.
• Work cooperatively with team members and other supervisors.
• Use equipment properly and maintain it as needed.
• Report any order discrepancies or issues to management.

• 3 or more years of retail experience.
• 2 or more years of supervisory experience.
• Learn and exemplify the Helpful Ready policy of Grigg’s/ACE Hardware.
• Possess self-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent physical stamina.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on occasion.

$19.25 - $21.00 / Hour.

Full-time, up to 40 hours per week. Workdays will be varied and include the following shifts, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
