Title:
- MERCHANDISER
Job Purpose- Increase sales volume, market share, and profitability by ensuring effective product placement and display in retail stores.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and appeal.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail store personnel.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Create visually appealing and effective product displays.
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations for product assortment and placement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Train retail staff on product features and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards and guidelines.
- Track and report on merchandising performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support promotional campaigns.
Required
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 1+ years of retail merchandising experience
Required
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and follow planograms
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
