Home Sales Inspector

Overview

As part of the Orkin Commercial sales team, the Home Sales Inspector will understand Orkin’s products and services and sell them to a variety of industries, building trusted relationships and preventing pests.

• Serve as a problem solver for commercial clients using thorough training.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of client commercial properties.
• Make recommendations based on inspections, addressing questions and setting expectations.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.

• Average first‑year earnings from $50,000 to $75,000 (base plus commission)

• Sales experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients inside and outside their homes

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., with ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including OSHA‑compliant respirator when needed
• Work in various weather conditions
