Job SummaryThe Window Sales Coordinator executes all aspects of our sales call process and strategies, facilitating and coordinating business activities of accounts and executing PARR sales initiatives. They support the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders, and helping to manage construction schedules. The Coordinator reports to the Division Sales Manager and works closely with the Window Outside Sales Person, Location Managers, corporate employees, vendor representatives, and industry associates.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Communicate with a wide number of customers in Residential Construction and help sell and manage the timely flow of building materials to their job sites.
- Expertly use, promote, and facilitate the PARR Bridge Strategy.
- Proactively set, reach, and meet (or exceed) personal sales and profit goals.
- Deepen customer relationships and schedule timely material shipments to ensure account profitability and customer loyalty.
- Sell on overall quality, value, and service rather than price.
- Precisely and efficiently manage time and prioritize workflow in a fast‑paced environment.
- Communicate with dispatch to avoid over promising deliveries to customers; send photos of returns to dispatch with pickup requests.
- Maintain customer profiles in Outlook or CRM with full contact information.
- Follow best practices in order entry, setting up deliveries, and all job aspects.
- Manage open orders to ensure they are invoiced timely or deleted.
- Take action to achieve objectives without waiting for management directive.
- Use DDMS to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow SPC guidelines and proper GP%.
- Complete purchase orders on time, confirm confirmation, and tie PO to order.
- Greet walk‑in customers professionally and walk them to products in store.
- Answer the phone promptly with a professional greeting.
- Identify customer urgency and complete orders quickly.
- Seek to learn products and their application for the end user.
- Confirm customer material needs prior to ordering product.
- Exceed profitable SPC pricing guidelines.
- Complete quotes and follow up in a timely manner.
- Be proactive with customer needs.
- Maintain a PARR share file for customer plans and take‑offs.
- Ensure inventory arrives on time and communicate status to customers.
- Complete transfer and purchase orders with correct pricing and use WOQS accurately.
- Perform simple takeoffs for windows, doors, siding, and other materials.
- Attend PK’s and PARR classes and complete AMT training.
- Use all preferred vendor quoting programs and marketplace program.
- Set up new job addresses in the system as needed.
- Make outgoing calls to prospects regarding business opportunities.
- Attend and assist with inventory and ensure workspace is uncluttered.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and use high‑visibility apparel and proper uniform.
- Communicate professionally with entire yard, crew, and management.
- Respond to voicemails and emails promptly and with correct grammar and spelling.
- Take ownership of mistakes, communicate with management, and provide clear delivery and contact information on orders.
- Build relationships with coworkers, vendors, and customers to solve problems and share support needed.
- Knowledge of building materials and/or experience in the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills via phone and email; ability to speak, write, and read English.
- Proven ability to develop relationships.
- Technical proficiency: personal computer, smartphone, scanner, ten‑key touch, 40+ WPM typing, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to execute PARR selling strategies, initiatives, and achieve sales goals.
- Knowledge of PARR selling principles, practices, and protocols.
- Willingness to share department responsibilities to meet deadlines.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Interpersonal skills: cordial, professional, diplomatic, high level of customer service.
