Service Technician
As a Shop Technician, you will perform various testing, repairs, and maintenance activities on forklifts and other equipment. This role requires you to work under the guidance of a supervisor and participate in training sessions to enhance your growth and knowledge. You will contribute to creating a positive image for the dealership’s customers while collaborating with all departments.
Responsibilities- Diagnose unit problems accurately and efficiently.
- Attend and actively participate in all service-related meetings.
- Complete and submit paperwork to the Service Manager in a timely manner, ensuring information is legible and complete, and obtaining customer signatures on required documents.
- Submit paperwork with comprehensive data from unit diagnoses, explaining faults found, and listing any safety and mechanical issues. Ensure this information is communicated to the customer and obtain their signature on appropriate documents.
- Communicate regularly with the Service Manager, Parts Department, and CSS to build and maintain reliable relationships.
- Provide support for the parts department by allowing time to order parts on stock orders when possible, supplying correct unit and attachment information for proper parts ordering, and maintaining an organized shop inventory.
- Utilize critical parts orders when necessary and ensure these parts are used upon arrival.
- Experience in repair and mechanical work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and wiring.
- Ability to work with pneumatics and installation processes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in forklifts and similar equipment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasco, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 – $38.00/hr.
