Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - JLL
OverviewAs a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and to mentor junior technicians.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) – belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
- Maintain positive working relationships across all operations facilities.
- Track and store department inventory.
- Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Travel up to 20% of the time.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, shifts, or areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
- 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college focused on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
- 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
- 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading experience.
- 1+ year of knowledge in electrical and electronic principles.
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods and to operate equipment in cramped or hazardous conditions.
- Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
- Lifting parts and tools averaging 20 lbs, occasionally up to 49 lbs.
- Working in dust, fumes, varying temperatures, vibration, and on concrete surfaces for long periods.
- Operating wheeled equipment up to 100+ lbs, maneuvering bulky parts, and working under/behind machinery.
Estimated compensation: $63,044.00 – $63,044.80 per year.
LocationOn-site – Pasco, WA
