Youth Development Professional Traditional Clubs

Position Summary

Assistant Youth Development Professional (Part‑time). Under the supervision of Branch and Program Directors, you will create a safe, fun, nurturing environment for all youth and support room leads with programming aligned with Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character & Citizenship.

Location:

Pasco, WA 99301. Part‑time, hourly position. Salary range: $17.15–$19.88 DOE/Hour. Additional $0.50/hr for bi‑lingual staff (assessment required). No travel.

• Assist room leads with programming in line with the three priority outcomes.
• Create a program setting that ensures health and safety of members.
• Promote and market programs to club members.
• Contribute to the overall climate for youth development and success.
• Manage program supplies and equipment, maintaining upkeep.
• Organize activities and events to showcase members.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the building.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environment.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with limited supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience working with youth preferred.
• Bi‑lingual preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
